**Finished Michael Thomas Ford's Full Circle.  As venusunfolding said, it is not as good as his first two, but I still enjoyed it.  I covers a 50something span in the lives of three gay men who as they try to find their happiness. The thing I love dmost was how covered the history of the gay movemtn over the last half of the 20th century.

 So today was a busy day... busy but fun.  I headed to Aunt Nancy's around 9:30 or so to pick her up. We went to nashville for the day. I wanted to go to the used bookstore and trade in some of my audiobooks, so I would have plenty to listen to when I start my summer school commute next week. Well, today Mom and I drove to Owensboro for my follow-up doctor's appointment.  Everything went well. They were quite pleased with my weight gain. I've gained 12 1/2 pounds since I was there three weeks ago.  I normally hover between 160-165, but had dropped as low as 127 by the second hospitalization. I'm back up to 144 1/2.  Well, I drove today for the firsttime since December 10th. Just a few blocks through the subdivision, but still. I wanted to practice some before I head to Louisville next weekend.  That I DESPISE single digit temperatures??? It got down to 9 last night.  The slow walk out to the car this morning was less than pleasant. Fortunately, Mom's still chauffeuring me around, so she let me out as close to a door as possible. It's supposed to get back into the 50s by Sunday, but til then, it will stay blue cold!

So I spent it with Aunt Nancy watching a Rock Hudson double feature. I picked her up from work, took her to the grocery and then we grabbed a bucket of KFC before I took her home. Tonight, I drove down to Aunt Nancy's for the first time since before the wedding. I checked TCM and AMC to see what was on before I left. Nothing appealed to me, so I grabbed a dvd with four classics comedies on it as I went out the door. I almost got a third one, but wanted to see if I found anything else I liked better. I also got Katie's kids  some t-shirt at the Disney store.
